Bangkok Airways Temporarily Suspends All Domestic Flights from April, 7

Bangkok Airways, Thailand-based regional airline and the country's first boutique airline, has announced the temporary suspension of all domestic services between April 7–30.

Earlier, the airlines cut flight frequency and terminated service indefinitely on selected domestic routes and all international routes as a response to the decrease of passenger demand.

The airline informed passengers they could request for a full refund via the airline's official website, or contact the airline's ticketing offices or call Bangkok Airways’s Call Center on 1771 or +662 270 6699. Passengers who purchased their tickets via various travel agencies have to contact their travel agency for refund or other options.

Based in Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi airport, Bangkok Airways uses Chiang Mai and Phuket as their secondary hubs in Thailand. Up to April, 7, Bangkok Airways will operate their flights as usual including flights to and from Phuket which yesterday announced closure of its airspace from April, 10.

Established in 1968, Bangkok Airways operates scheduled services to destinations in Thailand, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Singapore, and Vietnam. With its fleet of 40 aircraft the airline serves 28 destinations in Thailand and abroad.
