TAT Launches 'Hua Hin: Thai Authentic Beach' Campaign

The Prachuap Khiri Khan Office of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched a new “Hua Hin: Thai Authentic Beach” brand to showcase the diversity and attractiveness of Thailand’s first beach resort destination.

The project supported by Hua Hin’s public and private sectors puts emphasis on “Street Art Hua Hin” installations located at the town’s local communities.

Hua Hin offers a mix of modern town vibes and traditional Thai way of life. It is a beach resort perfect for families and tourists of all ages. It is also a preferred beach resort destination among the country’s royalty and elite, from the past to present,” TAT Prachuap Khiri Khan Director, Ms. Soraya Homchuen, said. “The launch of the new brand provides Hua Hin’s tourism operators with an authentic new marketing tool to promote the destination with both local Thai and international tourists.”

The new campaign will promote the latest additions to Hua Hin's list of attractions including street art creations in the villages of Samo Riang and Poon Suk that reflect the local way of life and pay tribute to the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX). The street art in Khao Tao community is dedicated to fishing as a principal occupation of the villagers.

The street art initiatives have become popular across the whole country and now Hua Hin has joined the club, too.
