VietJet Launches First Direct Flight Between Hanoi and Bali

Vietjet, Vietnam-based international low-cost airline, has recently launched the first direct flight between Vietnam's capital of Hanoi and Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, Indonesia.

It is the second direct route between Vietnam and Bali after Ho Chi MinhBali route launched by VietJet in May, 2019. Now both major cities of Vietnam are connected to Indonesia's most popular holiday island by direct air links.

The route is operated on a daily bases with flights from Hanoi taking off at 10 am and landing in Denpasar at 4.25 pm. In the opposite direction, the departure time from Bali is 5.30 pm, arrival time to Hanoi – 9.55 pm. Flight time in each direction is about 5 hours 30 minutes. Time difference between the two destinations is one hour, Bali being one hour ahead of Hanoi.

Chairwoman of Vietjet’s Board of Directors, Nguyen Thanh Ha, commented on the launch of the route, “Vietjet was founded with a pioneering mission to connect the skies. We are proud to be the first airline to operate direct flights between Hanoi and Bali. The new route, operated from the second day of the Lunar New Year, will meet the New Year’s travel demand of the locals and international travellers with less travel time and cost. Not only connecting the two most attractive cultural tourism destinations in Asia, the Hanoi - Bali route will also further promote cooperation between the countries in ASEAN.”
