Thailand Travel Mart+ 2020 Arrives to Phuket for the First Time

The Thailand Travel Mart (TTM), Thailand's annual largest B2B travel trade show, will be held between June 1–3, 2020 in Phuket for the first time in its history.

Before, the trade shows were held mostly in Bangkok with the exception of 2016–2017 when Chiang Mai hosted the event and 2018–2019, when it moved to Pattaya as part of the strategy to promote provincial destinations.

This year, the Thailand Travel Mart Plus Amazing Gateway to the Greater Mekong Subregion (TTM+) 2020 will see its 19th edition and will cover tourism in the Greater Mekong subregion, too.

Phuket, the country's second avaition hub after Bangkok, was chosen as a stage to usher in a new era in Thai tourism on the year of the 60th anniversary of the Tourist Association of Thailand (TAT).

This time, the trade show will focus on sustainable and responsible tourism. Phuket will be given a lot of spotlight as a Responsible Tourism destination with zero waste and total environmental protection.

Exhibitors who stick to the principles of environmental protection and promote sustainable tourist attractions and entertainment venues as well as enterprenuers from the emerging destinations will be prioritised.

Over 350 international buyers and 370 international sellers are expected to take part in the event.
