Vietjet to Fly from Da Nang to Singapore, Hong Kong

Vietjet, an international low-cost airline from Vietnam, has recently announced the launch of two new routes from Da Nang to Singapore and Hong Kong.

Da Nang, a coastal city in central Vietnam that boasts nice sandy beaches is gaining popularity. A convenient base for visiting the inland Bà Nà hills, it now boasts ne of the most recent and much visited attraction in Vietnam – the famous Golden Bridge. Tourist arrivals are on the rise in Da Nang hence the demand for air travel increases, too.

The Da Nang-Hong Kong route is scheduled to commence operations on December 12. The route will be served on a daily bases with flight time in each direction of about one hour and 45 minutes. From Da Nang flights will depart at 12.45 pm, from Hong Kong – at 5.20 pm. Time difference between Da Nang and Hong Kong is one hour, Hong Kong being one hour ahead.

The Da Nang-Singapore route will operate daily, too, starting from December 20. From Danang, flights will leave at 1.20 pm, from Singapore – at 10.50 am. Singapore is one hour ahead of Danang. Flight duration is two hours and 40 minutes per leg. 

Vietjet Vice president, Nguyen Thanh Son, commented on the launch of the two routes: “The new routes from Da Nang to Singapore and Hong Kong will strengthen the connection between Vietnam and two major economic and tourism centres in Asia.”
