Vietnam Arilines Launches Direct Flights from HCMC to Bali & Phuket

Vietnam Airlines has announced the launch of direct flights between Ho Chi Minh City, Vientam, and two of the world's most popular holiday destinations – Bali in Indonesia and Phuket in Thailand.

The laucnh of the both flights is scheduled for October, 27. 

Ho Chi MinhBali route will be operated five times a week – on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. This schedule is confirmed till the end of March 2020. After that, the daily frequency is proposed. Flights will depart from Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City at 11.10 am. The return flight will leave I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, Bali, at 4.50 pm the same day. Flight time is about 4 hours each way.

The route between Ho Chi Minh City and Phuket will be operated three times a week, on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. Departure times from HCMC and Phuket are 3.50 pm and 6.40 pm respectively. Flight time is slightly under two hours. Similarly to SaigonBali route, the airline is eyeing possibility to increase frequency on HCMC–Phuket route starting from March 2020. 

Besides introduction of a new HCMC–Phuket route, Vietnam Airlines will resume its daily Danang – Bangkok flights.
