New single-day ticket prices to Disneyland Hong Kong are HKD639 (USD 81.5) for adults, HKD475 for children under 11 y.o., and HKD100 for senior visitors over 65 y.o.
Some of the major reasons behind the price hike are operational costs and management needs. Until June, 24, Hong Kong residents will have an exclusive right to enter the park with tickets bought at original prices.
Through its fiscal year 2018, Hong Kong Disneyland got about HKD6 billion (USD765 million). It is actually 18% more on year-to-year bases and an absolute record takings for the theme park since its 2005 opening, according to its financial report published in February.
The main boost for income provided larger visitor numbers. Guest stays at the hotel and consumption also increased.
