Direct Flights to Link Zhengzhou and Kuala Lumpur

Malindo Air is going to add another direct route linking Malaysia and China to their portfolio with Kuala LumpurZhengzhou service scheduled to start May, 1.

Malindo Air, a Malaysian full-service airline owned by Indonesian Lion Air Group and headquartered in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, has announced the opening of a new route to China with direct flights scheduled to link the capital city of Kuala Lumpur with Zhengzhou, the capital and historical city of Central China's Henan Province effective from May, 1.

There will be three flights a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, each operated by a Boeing 737 aircraft. Flights will leave Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 4.40 pm and arrive to Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport at 10 pm. In the opposite direction, the departure time from Zhengzhou is 11 pm, the arrival time to Kuala Lumpur – 4.30 am the next morning. Flying will take about five hours 30 minutes each way.

Zhengzhou is a historical city in Henan province that is considered the cradle of the Chinese civilization. Zhengzhou is also one of the Eight Ancient Capital Cities of China and the birthplace of the Yellow Emperor. The city features two UNESCO World Heritage Sites and is an important transportation hub of Central China.
