Zhengzhou and Kuala Lumpur to Get Direct Air Link

Effective from May, 1, Malindo Air, a Malaysian full-service airline owned by Indonesian Lion Air Group based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, will operate a direct air route between Zhengzhou, China, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

There will be three flights in each direction a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday operated by a Boeing 737 aircraft. Flights from Kuala Lumpur International Airport will leave at 4.40 pm and arrive to Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport at 10 pm. In the opposite direction, the departure from Zhengzhou is scheduled for 11 pm, the arrival to Kuala Lumpur – for 4.30 am the next morning. Flying time is five hours 30 minutes. Kuala Lumpur and Zhengzhou are located within the same time zone.

Zhengzhou is the capital of Henan province in east-central China. The metropolis sits on Yellow River. During the times of Shang Dynasty (16th - 11th century BC) Zhengzhou became the capital city retaining its importany status ever since. It is widely considered the cradle of Shaolin Kong Fu as the famous Shaolin Temple and Songshan Mountain are located within an easy reach from Zhengzhou City. 

An important transportation hub of HenanZhengzhou has direct air links with some large regional cities like Singapore, Bangkok, and Manila
