Phu Quoc Gets a 745-Room AccorHotels Resort

The already impressive portfolio of properties in Vietnam owned by AccorHotels now features a brand-new 745-room resort called the Premier Residences Emerald Bay located in Phu Quoc island.

While AccorHotels already have three other hotel properties on Phu Quoc, the most impressive featire of the new resort is expansive views of the stunning Emerald Bay. The resort sits within an easy access to the world’s longest cable car, Hon Thom Cable Car, that connects Phu Quoc's An Thoi town and Hon Thom, the largest island off the shores of Phu Quoc, also known as the Pineapple Island.

Totally, there are 745 rooms in the hotel including suites and two-bedroom penthouses with a private pool. Hotel facilities feature three restaurants and two bars, a fitness centre, spa, yoga studio and an outdoor pool that overlooks Khem Beach, one of the most spectacular of all 20+ beaches of the island.

Phu Quoc island is located in the south of Vietnam, some 45 kilometres west of Ha Tien. Its northern part is listed as an UNESCO world heritage site and the island as a whole is considered one of the most beautiful islands in the SEA. It boasts rich marine life and biodiversity with over a hundred species of corals, 135 species of coral reef fish plus a variety of migrating fish and marine mammals.

The easiest way to reach Phu Quoc is via a direct flight from either Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi though travelling by boat from Ha Tien and Rach Ra on the mainland is also popular and takes about 90 minutes.
