Cultural and Culinary Experience in SEA & Asia: Where to Go?

The recent survey conducted by Travel Leaders Network, a global travel community has shown that requests for travel to Asia are outpacing planned vacations to South America, the South Pacific and Cuba.

Southeast Asia offers great cultural and culinary experiences and often at a very affordable price. Here is the list of four most popular destination in SEA & Asia. Do you agree?

Indonesia
You've already been to Bali, haven't you? Even if yes, with some 17,000 islands on offer your choice is never short in Indonesia. Think Sumatra with a beautiful Toba Lake or sultan palaces and temples of Java. And then there are Komodo dragons – live relics of the past.

Kyoto, Japan
One of the most beautiful cities in Asia never fails to impress. There are several UNESCO listed heritage sites in Kyoto including Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion) and Nijo Castle and Japanese cuisine is a pure delight.

Thailand
It has it all – from pristine beaches of Phuket or Koh Samui to golden temples of Chiang Mai. Elephant encounters and jungle trekking, hill-tribes culture and local coffee, WWII memorial sites and gorgeous Bangkok straddling Chao Phraya River. And that famous Thai smile!

Singapore
Since 'Crazy Rich Asians' romantic comedy reached the audience, Singapore is on the rise. But even if you are not going to visit the locations filmed there, what about sipping a cocktail in the bar of Raffles Hotel or trying mouthwatering delicacies from hawkers stands?
