MRT Purple Line in Bangkok will be made by Japanese companies

Japan reported that three its companies have won a project of construction new MRT line in Bangkok. East Japan Railway Co, Marubeni Corp and Toshiba Corp will supply of 63 railroad cars and equipment for the line and will control the line's work for 10 years.

Japan reported that three its companies have won a project of construction new MRT line in Bangkok. The 23-kilometre Purple Line will stretch from Bang Yai district in Nonthaburi to the Bang Sue. Its launching is planned for 2016 year.

East Japan Railway Co, Marubeni Corp and Toshiba Corp will supply of 63 railroad cars and equipment for the line and will control the line's work for 10 years. Some of Japanese experts will stay in Bangkok for this time.

The Japanese Government will afford Thailand the loan for the Purple Line project worth 79 billion yen.
