Hyundai Motor expands its influence on Myanmar

Hyundai Motor is going to become a leader in a growing Myanmar market dominated by Asian carmakers. By 2018 year the company plans to open 18 more showrooms in the main cities of the country.

Hyundai Motor is going to become a leader in a growing Myanmar market dominated by Asian carmakers. In the August of this year the company opened its first representation in Yangon. By 2018 year Hyundai Motor plans to open 18 more showrooms in the main cities of the country.

 The popularity of Asian cars in Myanmar increased in 2001 year, when the Government suggested the residents to exchange their old European cars on permits to import new one from Asia. Owing to it this year the number of passenger cars in Myanmar has risen to 24% from a year before.
