Yesterday traffic police of Bangkok (Thailand) has found the first “victim” to new traffic rules, which relating to illegal parking in the city. It was the driver of a car on Phetchaburi Road. His vehicle was towed away to the nearest police station. Drivers can take back their car or motorcycle by paying a 500 baht fee for the first 24 hours and plus 300 baht per day if vehicle stays near police station longer. If you can’t find your towed car, please call 1197.
We would remind you, that in this month police will monitor the observance of new rules just on 10 main roads such as: Phetchaburi Road, Rama IV Road from Hua Lamphong intersection to its intersection with Sukhumvit Road, Ratchadaphisek Road and Phahon Yothin Road, Vibhavadi Rangsit Road from Din Daeng intersection to Rangsit area, Sathon Road, Lat Phrao Road from Lat Phrao intersection to Lam Sali intersection, Ramkhamhaeng Road, Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok, and Ratchadamnoen Avenue.
