Thai Department of Land Transport considers the launching of special taxi service in Bangkok while it’s already introduced in Chiang Mai. This new option of capital’s private transport contemplates only woman drivers for woman-passengers with a view to ensure their security and to increase their trust.

It is expected that the Department will take a decision on a woman taxi project up to the end of this year. If it will be approved, the fee for new service should be a little more than usual.
