Japan will make Yangon railway better

 
Japan
announced its intention to cooperate with Myanmar to upgrade Yangon train system in order to attract more passengers and to help ease the city’s traffic. According to Japanese experts Yangon circular railway is able to serves 3 million passengers a day instead of current 100,000. 

 Japan announced its intention to cooperate with Myanmar to upgrade Yangon train system in order to attract more passengers and to help ease the city’s traffic. According to Japanese experts now Yangon circular railway serves only 100,000 passengers a day, with proper development their number would be about 3 million. 

Myanmar Railways currently plan to increase train’s speed, prolong the Yangon circular railway and to expand the diameter of the railroad. In addition to Japan's participation in the Yangon train system’s renovation it will be occupied with building new railway  connecting the Thilawa Special Economic Zone.  

To realize ambitious Yangon plans Japan will provide a low interest loan for Myanmar government.
